Directions from Virginia

- Take the Key Bridge into downtown Washington DC

- Then take Wisconsin Av North, Continue North onto Wisconsin Av, and then make a Left onto Cathedral Ave.

- Then make an immediate right turn onto Massachusetts Av

- Gurdwara will be on your right at the corner of 38th street and Mass Ave

Directions from Maryland and Points North

- Take 95S until you hit 495. Take 495W toward Silver Spring

- Then, Take the exit for Rockville Pike (Wisconsin Av) South, Follow signs for Rockville Pike (Wisconsin Av South)

- Once on Rockville Pike (Wisconsin Av), continue South for 5-6 miles, You will see the National Cathedral on the left,

- At the next light make a Right turn onto Cathedral Ave. Then make an immediate right turn onto Massachusetts Av

- Gurdwara will be on your right at the corner of 38th street and Mass Ave

Directions from Downtown DC

- Take Massachusetts Avenue West

- Pass National Cathedral; Gurdwara will be on the right side

Directions from Maryland and Points South

- Take I-270 to I-495 towards Virginia

- Take the exit for River Road (towards Washington D.C.)

- After 4.4 Miles Make a Right onto 46th Street.

- After 1 mile make a Left onto Massachusetts Avenue.

- Gurdwara will be on your Left at the corner of 38th Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

Metro Directions

From Foggy Bottom-GWU (Orange, Blue Lines):

Take the Orange Line towards New Carrolton to Farragut West. (Depending on your location, it might be easier to just walk to the bus stop on 17th & I Streets). Board metro bus on 17th Street NW and I Street NW. Take either the 36 Bus towards Friendship Heights or the N6 towards Friendship Heights. The bus will stop at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue & Wisconsin Avenue, NW. Walk NW along Mass. Ave. The next intersection will be 38th Street & Mass. Ave and the gurdwara will be on the right side on the corner. Total travel time depending on schedule. (Varies from 20-30 minutes on a Sunday morning).

From Tenleytown-AU (Red Line):

Board the 32 Bus towards SOUTHERN AVE STATIONS. The bus will stop at Wisconsin Ave and Cathedral Ave. You will be able to see Massachusetts Avenue in front of you. If you take a right on Mass. Ave, the gurdwara will be a short walk down to the next block on your right hand side. Total travel time depending on schedule. (Varies from 30-40 minutes on a Sunday morning).

From Georgetown University:

From the Bus stop located on 37th & O Streets NW, Take the G2 Bus towards Howard University. Get off at Dumbarton Street & Wisconsin Ave. NW. Take the 36 Bus towards Friendship Heights. Get off at Massachusetts Avenue & Wisconsin Avenue NW. Walk NW on Mass. Ave and the next intersection will be 38th & Mass. The gurdwara will be on your right hand side. Total travel time depending on schedule. (Varies from 20-30 minutes on a Sunday morning).

From U Street Station:

Board bus 90 toward McLean gardes on U and 13th Street NW. This bus will stop at NW WOODLEY RD & NW WISCONSIN AV and from there, you will walk towards Mass Ave. Take a right on Mass and the next block the gurdwara will be on your right. Total travel time depending on schedule. (Varies from 30-40 minutes on a Sunday morning).

*Please note that the Metro rail and bus run on an abbreviated schedule on the weekends. The above travel times are based on the Sunday Schedule. Weekday travel times are faster.

*The gurdwara's intersection is 38th Street NW & Massachusetts Avenue. (Just in case you decide to take a cab)
